Hard to believe…
But we’re almost exactly halfway through the year of 2025.
And the summer solstice has passed already!
As a glum, Eeyore type might say, “The nights are drawing in now.”
However, I like to see this point in the calendar as the summer version of New Year’s Eve.
It’s an important time to take stock of where we’ve been – and where we plan to go next.
Usually, I send you an email on Monday that focuses on motivational strategies, inspirational ideas and tools for productivity,
So for this mid-year special, I’ve decided to compile some of my readers’ favourite Monday issues of What Really Makes Money.
Think of this as a free compendium of strategies you can use to give yourself a boost in the second half of this year.
They may include great tips and ideas you missed – or ones that you could do with a reminder about!
So here goes…
How to Unlock Your Hidden Energy Peaks
Have you ever found yourself sitting down to work on an important project…. yet you feel exhausted before you even begin?
Or do you find that you get brain fog right at the point where you most need to concentrate?
There could be a good reason for this!
In this issue, I reveal how your natural body clock could be sabotaging your money making goals (and ways that you can fix this problem!)

Would you pay £37,000 per year to feel this stupid?
Heloise and I pay a massive amount of money (£37K per year!) to attend an international mastermind class where we often feel like the poorest, least successful people in the room.
Why would anyone do that to themselves?
Well, there’s a very good reason – and it’s something you should consider if you want to accelerate your progress towards a substantial second income.
In this issue, I showed you easy ways to get the same benefits as us – but without the £37,000 price tag.

The Benefits of DIY Dream Engineering
Dreams are vital for keeping your brain alert and your mood positive.
That’s because during sleep your brain sifts through memories… disposing of some, while keeping others… strengthening positive emotions, while weakening negative or traumatic ones.
Over time, this reduces mental stress and boosts your natural problem-solving abilities.
So in this issue, I reveal how to transform your sleep into a tool for creativity and focus.

The Multitasking Myth
Some experts argue that the human brain has evolved to take on single-tasks… and what we perceive as ‘multitasking’ is just our brain quickly alternating between different tasks.
So is the problem of multitasking something you should be worrying about – or is something else at play?
In this report, I take a look at hidden problems that might cause problems with your powers of focus and attention – and how to solve them!

The Surprising Power of ‘The Streak’
In this issue, I reveal a form of psychological ‘lock-in’ that encourages your brain to stay motivated for very long periods of time.
If you try this out, you might find that it becomes uncomfortable NOT to work on a home business project.
That’s how powerful this can be when you know how to harness it properly.

Do the WRONG Thing to Get the Right Results
Back in the 1930s, a psychologist who was treating insomniacs made a discovery. Instead of desperately trying to sleep, they responded better when they were told to stay awake all night on purpose.
In other words, they were told to do the wrong thing – and yet it delivered a much better result.
So in this issue I’ll show you why failing on purpose for 15 minutes a day can help you beat distraction and procrastination,

The Woolly Mouse Goal-Setting Trick
This year, biotech company, Colossal Biosciences announced they had made a big step in bringing the woolly mammoth back from extinction.
But what they revealed was… a woolly mouse.
However, while this was obviously very funny, there’s actually a lesson to learn from it.
And it’s all about a proven way to achieve a big goal but without the overwhelm,

Why Being Observed Makes You More Productive
The Hawthorne Effect’ is a phenomenon where people perform better at tasks simply because they KNOW they are being observed.
In this issue, I reveal the weird science behind becoming more focussed and productive.
And I’ll show you a brilliant way to get your own ‘invisible coach’ who will help you get more done (and feel a lot more positive and energetic about achieving difficult goals!).

How to Reclaim Your Brain from Tech
Digital tech has become the ultimate tool of surveillance capitalism… deliberately designed to capture our attention for as long as possible, no matter what the social cost.
But what will happen to us all if we allow these digital info networks to dominate our lives?
What will happen to our powers of critical thinking…?
What will become of our capacity to create new things, learn new skills and act on new ideas?
In this issue I reveal how to get ahead if you’re constantly being distracted, irritated and manipulated by digital technology.

The Body Scanning Secret
You might not realise it, but your body is sending you powerful signals all the time – some are positive signals but others are warnings.
Often we don’t spot these signals, so we plough on with tricky challenges, wondering why we feel tired, lacklustre, distracted and unmotivated.
However, there’s a technique you can use to spot your internal warning signals and regain control of your physical and mental state.

How to Enjoy Effortless Productivity
In Japanese culture there’s an idea known as ‘Ikigai’, loosely translated as a ‘reason for being’.
It’s that feeling of inner drive, absorption and fulfilment you get when you follow your passions and interests in life.
Finding your Ikigai is crucial when it comes to long-term success.
It makes ‘working’ on a big project (like setting up a business, or learning how to trade) not feel like work at all, but something that you’re compelled to do… that makes you feel fulfilled, complete and happy.
Here’s how to find your perfect motivational recipe: WRMM Ikigai
The 5 Minute Trick for Achieving
Big Important Goals
If you ask too much of yourself, it can send you into a panic.
You feel an overpowering urge to run away, hide, give up, or find a reason to avoid a big, important project altogether.
This is why many of us procrastinate, get distracted and come up with excuses as to why we can’t get going on something important this week…
But there is a technique that can help you overcome this, so that your brain doesn’t kick in with its fear response.

Are You Tormented By Unfinished Projects?
In the 1920s, a Lithuanian psychologist discovered that people remember unfinished tasks more than they remembered completed ones.
This is why that incomplete project can torment us with guilt and anxiety.
For example, that business plan you began working on…. that course where you only did the first few modules… or that eBook or course you started planning out…
However, there is a way to turn that around and actually USE this effect in a positive way that helps you get things finished!

Save this email for when you need motivation!
We’ve covered a lot haven’t we! Hopefully one of these techniques will serve you well in the second half of 2025!
I’ll be back on Wednesday with another compilation – this time a collection of practical strategies for starting and growing a successful online business.
